Multi-Read Data
For responses which are calculated from time series or other data with multiple reads per well, Users can construct an experimental window and return an aggregate value for use as a RESPONSE. The parameters can be specified on a per response basis and allow more than one response to be generated from a single data set.
The Multi-Read plot device produces plots of this type of data for use in screen development and data review. Each series is plotted in a grid representing plate location. The figure at left shows a typical Multi-Read plot. In this case, a fluorescent plate reader has produced 110 reads of the plate over the course of a few minutes. The figure shows dose-response series for eight inhibitors of receptor mediated calcium flux.
The figure at left is a plate overlay of 56 plates from a Potency screening run. Views such as this provide powerful insights into the control limits and noise of an experiment. Overlay plots for dynamic well selections are also available. Shown below is an example of report output from the ResultViewer device illustrating how kinetic traces can inform potency fit results.
ScreenAble provides several built-in algorithms for multi-read analysis and can readily be adapted to even complex cases such as circadian responses. Computational Models are constructed using R-code and can provide data slots for parameters, error terms and fit statistics for context-sensitive review. Challenging cases welcome.
StructureReports are displayed in a browser-based device and use SVG formats that do not lose resolution at scale. The reports may be saved to a zipped folder for external use with any modern browser.
