Duane D. Bronson, PhD is the Founder and Owner(DBA) of ScreenAble Solutions. Laboratory training as a protein chemist, enzymologist and cell biologist combined with thirty years of discovery screening experience provide him with the neccessary skills to address any analytical challenges facing his fellow screeners.

ScreenAble Solutions is proud to announce that Elizabeth R. Bronson, CRC has joined the Company. Beth currently works at the other end of the Drug Discovery business as a Clinical Research Coordinator at Duke Medical Center. As the author's eldest daughter, she has been a valuable sounding board for the ScreenAble project from its inception. Her addition to the company not only doubles our size, it also allows shameless use of plural pronouns like we and our.

Over the many years of its development, the author's vision for ScreenAble has occasionally (in jest) been referred to as Quixotic "tilting at windmills". Ironically, this reference is never made because the enemies of good data analysis are imaginary, but instead because the enemies are often not who (or what) one expects them to be. Good screening is hard work. Regardless, what Don Quixote would say is that no knight could ever hope for a more worthy Sancho Panza than Beth. Nosotros is always mightier than Yo, especially when there are new windmills to tilt.

Creating ScreenAble would not have been possible without the generous feedback and "morale" support received from my screening colleagues over the years. Although sole author of this toolkit and its documentation, the concepts and methods used in ScreenAble represent only a fraction of the creative and excellent ideas I have been exposed to in my screening career.

Although too numerous to mention individually, I am grateful to many Scientists and IT professionals from Sphinx Pharmaceuticals, Eli Lilly & Co., GlaxoSmithKline and important first customer, the Center for Integrative Chemical Biology and Drug Discovery of the Eshelman School of Pharmacy at UNC-CH(CICBDD).
