ScreenAble Graphics
R-Language Graphics
ScreenAble features high quality graphics produced using the R programming language. Options for controlling fonts, plot colors and image color schemes with resolutions up to 600 dpi are available.
Graphics are displayed in application windows which can contain multiple tabbed pages. In general, plot commands in ScreenAble will result in the creation or refreshing of a Named device. The content of these devices can be printed, copied or exported using ContextMenu options. Some graphics offer interactive selections and chart hints that highlight points in their associated plots and data grids.
Graphics devices in ScreenAble are available for AssayRun Navigation, Experimental Design and other, whole object Exploratory Data Analysis. Additionally, DataGridViews offer graphics and statistical tools in their Toolbar and Context Menus. Graphical reports are easily generated using simple dialogs that offer flexible layouts and formatting options.
OpenGL Graphics
ScreenAble also offers dynamic 3-dimensional graphics device using OpenGL GPU-based rendering. Zoom control and highlighting tools allow for sophisticated appreciation of patterns and trends over multiple data dimensions. An example depicting activity in 50 plates over the row-major well order and plate sequence is shown at left.
Creating Graphical Reports
StructureReports are displayed in a browser-based device and use SVG formats that do not lose resolution at scale. The reports may be saved to a zipped folder for external use with any modern browser.
